In a lovely quiet location of South East Cornwall, this cosy self catering accommodation with its wood burner makes an ideal location for exploring the beautiful county of Cornwall.
The Old Sawmill is a luxuriously appointed warm and cosy detached Cornish holiday cottage within the tranquil location of a little Cornish village, tucked away off the beaten track. Formerly a working sawmill dating back to the 1800s, this lovely two double bedroom property features oak flooring and slate tiles. There is a modern contemporary wood burner in the living room, exposed beams with vaulted ceiling and great natural lighting. Offering a comfortable three seater sofa and 2 arm chairs, one of which is a wingback along with a dining table and four chairs and wooden blinds throughout. The bedrooms enjoy Kingsize beds, egyptian cotton bed linen and there are big fluffy towels, hypo allergenic duvets. Enclosed garden with lovely views up through the owners garden. Garden loungers and a picnic bench with a portable kettle BBQ.Parking for 2 cars onsite. Not suitable for long wheel base vans due to access restrictions.
Known as "the gateway to Cornwall" ideally situated near Liskeard for exploring the beautiful county of Cornwall including amazing sites such as Lantic Bay, Talland Bay, Lostwithiel, Looe and Polperro and much much more all within 25 minutes. Our guests can enjoy walks to deer park forest from the door and there are plenty of animals and wildlife to see from Herons to Ponies.
